Laura Ilko

Women and children ministry director

Laura was raised in Thornton, Colorado. After graduating high school she was awarded a swimming scholarship to the University of Wyoming. While there she met Johnny.  It was during her time at the University of Wyoming, and through Johnny that she became born again in 2008.

During the time at the University they served together at Horizon Christian Fellowship in Laramie. Laura served mostly with the elementary aged children and in the nursery.

After graduating in 2011 with a bachelor’s in Business they married and continued serving in Laramie until the Lord impressed it on Johnny and Laura to move back to his home town to plant what would become Calvary Chapel Craig.

Laura is privileged to be a pastor’s wife as well as serving as both ministry director in the women’s ministry and children’s ministry at Calvary Chapel Craig.

On August 5th, 2015, John and Laura opened their home and John began teaching a Bible  study.

In November of 2015, John and Laura restarted the family ranch and raise Alpacas.

In October of 2020 Calvary Chapel Magazine heard of what the Lord was doing in Northwest Colorado and Calvary Chapel Craig, so they wanted to let others know. Here is the article.
